Michelle is the founder of clever carbon and Women and Climate. She launched her career in Silicon Valley where she worked for some of the biggest names in tech including Salesforce and DocuSign. A proponent for making sustainability the new norm, Michelle founded clever carbon to teach people about carbon footprint in a hip, fun, and relatable way. In 2022, she founded Women and Climate, a non-profit initiative that empowers and inspires women to start their climate journey by creating a safe and joyful space. Michelle is a TEDx and SXSW speaker.

Introduction to Sustainability on Coursera
Our climate challenges are complex and extend beyond greenhouse gas emissions. I took this online course early on in my climate journey and it gave me a strong foundation of what makes up our challenges today: population, natural resources, how we overcame past challenges (ex. ozone layer, acid rain), potential solutions, and more. Everyone at Clever Carbon receives reimbursement to take this course.
