Breakfast Livestream: Watch Replay

We moved into a conversation with experts Sarabeth Brockley and Katie Hoffman, around funding clean tech solutions, startups, and how policy impacts decision making across the climate tech ecosystem.

Our next panel focused on women who are leading the charge on clean tech innovations: Serena Poon, Jane Melia Ph.D, and Neeka Mashouf

As we develop clean tech innovations and solutions, how do we make sure we don’t leave those who are vulnerable behind? Next, Michlle Li was joined by Alyah Kanso, Sustainability Manager for the Golden State Warriors, for a conversation about clean tech and climate justice.

Lastly, we sat down with Dr. Vanessa Z. Chan - the Chief Commercialization Officer for the Department of Energy - for a conversation about how federal funding is key to unlocking solutions needed for the energy transition. We learned what role does the Department of Energy plays currently, and what has been accomplished so far.

From Davos to COP, these global climate champions attended and spoke at the world’s most prominent climate events. We learned about their experiences and key takeaways from SF Climate Week 2024. Led by Founder Michelle Li, and joined by Meghan Edge, Melissa Rowley, Leila Toplic and Sarabeth Brockley, our event featured a rooftop plant-based lunch, networking, and a community debrief activity.
